    • Integrating data from Property Management Systems (PMS), sustainability resources, and digital marketing analytics to provide actionable insights for improved decision-making and tailored services.

  • Supporting the development of competitive, efficient, and sustainable tourism solutions across these interconnected destinations.

Innovating to attain better resilience and competitiveness in Mature Destinations

The initiative integrates multiple data sources to enhance sustainable tourism management. This includes

    • Digital marketing data from DMO activities,

    • Operational data from SMEs through their Property Management Systems (PMS),

  • Sustainability indicators from the Spanish TSI project.

The integration of these data sources will result in:

    • A dashboard for DMOs, enabling them to effectively drive and monitor sustainable tourism practices.

  • Tailored services and tools provided to tourism SMEs, helping them improve their operational services and align with sustainability goals.

The initiative will facilitates the adoption of the data space by tourism companies, turning them into both data providers and consumers. This will support DMOs in making more informed decisions, increasing competitiveness by balancing economic growth with sustainable development. Tourism SMEs will also gain valuable insights by leveraging the data processed by DMOs to improve their business strategies.
